I am just thankful. So thankful to have people around me that get me. That support me and want to see good things for me.

Maybe it’s just my adolescent road, my slow naive way…but this is new for me. It is new to have people that are rooting for me, and to not think they have ulterior motives. I just have people that want the best for me in my life.

Perhaps it’s because I have grown in faith. Perhaps it’s because I’m in my late 40s. Perhaps it’s because I am one of those people that will always push the envelope and have always felt distrusted and disliked due to that.

But no, I don’t think so.

I finally feel like people are in my corner because they want to be. They just want to support me, because they care about me, and it’s nice to just let that happen.
