Lucy is getting a major facelift! Here she is painted in “little black dress,” and while her accessories (trim and door paint) are not complete, you can get a sense of this extreme upgrade.

I was being so unnecessarily hard on myself, thinking that to RESTORE rather than REPLACE was somehow bad. I am actually laughing at myself a little. Yes, I am reglazing windows! I am using wood filler to replace rot in corners.

I took the “storm” (just glass in a flimsy frame, basically useless) windows off the front of the house and cleaned the glass for real for the first time since moving in. Goddess above-it’s so good! I am not putting them back up. I’ll store them in the basement in case I need them someday.
