Perhaps you have been told that yoga is a great stress relieving activity. Intuitively you might know stretching and breathing is deeply aligned with who you are and how you want to feel. Maybe you have gone to a yoga class or have taken yoga from a teacher online.
You still feel separate from yoga. As if the practice of being in your body with yoga poses is foreign because you think you “don’t know enough.” The culture has led you to believe that you need to look a certain way or dress in expensive yoga clothes to “do it right.”
The truth is, yoga is for every one and every body. There isn’t really a way to practice “right.”
Doing yoga in a flow that someone else designed can cause anxiety for those new to yoga. I know it did for me.
That’s where Yoga for You comes in! In this short class I will teach you how to create your own yoga practice. My hope for you is that you can find poses that make you feel good and bring attention to your own experience.
